According to reports, the actor died in his sleep after suffering a partial stroke and high blood pressure. Terrorists raided some villages in Niger state, north central Nigeria, on Sunday, killing 25 farmers and abducting others. The attack is the latest in a series of violent incidents that have plagued the region in recent months. The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, which is sitting at the Court of Appeal in Abuja, will resume hearing the cases challenging the outcome of the February 25 presidential election on Tuesday, June 11. The tribunal has consolidated the petitions filed by Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) against the president-elect, Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). The tribunal has given Obi three weeks to present his case, starting from Tuesday, May 30 to Friday, June 23.
